Welcome to Dave D’Marko’s blog site

March 12th, 2009 at 4:50 pm by Dave D'Marko under News

Reporters like myself here at WDTN have just been given the opportunity to create blogs on the website. I am excited about the chance to interact with viewers. I’m not really sure how best to use this new tool right now, so if you have any ideas please let me know. I used to think I was technologically savvy but with every new Twitter or the like that comes out I feel I’m falling farther behind. But I’ll try to get an avatar? for you shortly and try to make this thing as interesting and informative as possible – DAVE

Dave, I have a cat who was on CNN in January, having survived a 9 story fall.He jumped from my balcony on New Year’s Eve. Baynews9 did the story and CNN ran it nationally. I am here in Xenia and the wind blew open my basement door and he got out. I am deperate to find him and have been all over town posting fliers, I will email you the flier if you send me the link, Please do a story for me, he is like a son to me.

    Thanks

    Dave,

Please realize that you did a disservice to your viewers when you pointed a M-16 rifle at the camera and, even worse, pulled the trigger. The first rule of firearm safety is to never point a weapon at anything you don’t want to shoot; it doesn’t matter if you THINK the gun us unloaded or blank-firing. You just taught children that it is neat to point a gun at someone.
