Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

If you are taking the day off from work to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, you picked a good one weather-wise!  While we are off to a chilly start… it is going to be a spectacular afternoon!  I can tell you what it will be like… but I think it’s better if you actually SEE it for yourself, as it is pretty :)

Our record high in Dayton on this date is 73 degrees… so we could be close!

Tonight, another clear night… but not as chilly.  We’ll be down in the upper 40s, to right around 50 degrees.

Wednesday will be another pretty nice day… partly sunny and continued mild… but a cold front is approaching:

That will likely kick off some showers, possibly a thunderstorm.  The best time for this would be from late afternoon through the evening.  The rain should be outta here by the Thursday morning commute!

So do you have any fun St. Patrick’s Day traditions?  Of course there is the wearing of green… which I always say is a sick joke on television meteorologists:  the weather wall is green, and that is the one color we can’t wear!  Thankfully, today I was able to find a *dark* green suit to wear.  I think it looks black on TV, but at least nobody is pinching me ;)   Have a good day, and enjoy this beautiful weather!
