It’s another cool morning with temperatures in the upper 40s/low 50s.  Great, refreshing bike-to-work weather!  But remember to do layers today, because it will be quite warm for the return ride:

There is a FREE pancake breakfast for bikers at Riverscape Metropark today… this goes through 9am.  Free pancakes!  AND you’ll be getting exercise and helping to save the environment.  I would totally bike to work if I didn’t come in during the middle of the night…. a bit of a safety hazard, I think.

The warming trend for the weekend is holding strong in our forecast.  We’ll be into the lower 80s Saturday, and mid 80s on Sunday.  Dry weather expected, too, with a lot of sun!  Karrie Rossmiller is a volunteer at Aullwood… and she’s been telling me about this great event coming up this weekend.  It’s Farm Babies Fest, and it’s a chance for everyone to come out and meet the new arrivals on the farm.  Not only will there be animals to interact with, but there’s also music, children’s activities, delicious Aullwood food, plant sales and other vendors.  It’s 10am-5pm, only $5/car, and the weather looks great!

The next rain chance is holding off until next week.  Still looks like later in the day Monday and into Tuesday we’ll see some scattered showers and thunderstorms.  But temperatures remain warm, in the upper 70s to right around 80!
