Good morning!  I hope you enjoyed the weekend!  We had lots of sunshine and warm temperatures but the humidity values weren’t that bad.  Today we’re going to see the humidity values a little higher along with some much needed rain.  We’ll see the rain throughout the day.  Later this evening we’ll see the showers become much more scattered in nature.

If you have plans to go to tonight’s Dragons game make sure you bring along the rain gear.  There’s still a chance of showers through the evening.

I have been talking with farmers and gardeners across the Miami Valley.  They are in need of rain.  We’ll see about a quarter to three tenths of an inch of rain.

I have been saying all morning we need the rain and here’s why.  Dayton is running about a half an inch below normal for the month.

The rain will become widely scattered tonight and we may see a few spotty showers tomorrow morning but by Tuesday afternoon we’ll see dry conditions once again.  This will continue for the entire week as an area of high pressure builds across the Miami Valley.

I think today I am going to stay indoors and read a book.  Have a great day!
