Goodbye to Sandy…November 1st, 2012 at 8:07 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
We are on the back edge of Sandy this morning… some of our eastern counties started the day with a few light showers… drizzle and lots of clouds. BUT the clouds actually held temperatures UP most of the night! Where skies have cleared, temps have dropped into the 30s:
The back edge of the clouds is clearing the area now, and we’ll see lots of sunshine today! Finally! It will still be a little breezy, but a touch warmer, too, as highs climb up near 50-degrees. Friday also looks dry… GOOD news for the high school football playoff games! Yes, it will be chilly… but we won’t have to deal with rain as we have so many nights this season:
The weekend looks a bit warmer with highs in the low 50s, but we do have a slight chance of scattered showers Saturday. A weak disturbance will bring the best shot of rain to our southern counties:
And it does not look like a wash-out by any means! Temps remain cool–no big swings forecast–as we head into next week. Nice to have a little calm weather!
