Snow Sunday, then a warming trend…

What a beautiful Saturday here in the Miami Valley!  High pressure brought tons of sun to the area, but then as expected the clouds rolled in during the later afternoon hours.  By evening, mostly cloudy skies were the rule, and we’ve even had a few flurries and light snow showers move through.  Here is the 11pm Live Doppler 2HD:

Overnight, the slight chance for light snow will continue, and actually will increase on Sunday as another cold front moves through.  This snowfall looks to be light, so we won’t see much accumulation out of it… maybe a dusting.  Many of the models I’ve looked at agree with our in-house Futuretrac model:

And temperatures Sunday afternoon will come right up around the freezing mark, so there should be some melting as well.  Aaaaand that melting will actually continue all next week!  A warming trend will set up for the area, and as early as Tuesday high temperatures will be pushing 40-degrees.  It’s mid-40s Wednesday… and even the chance for rain on Thursday.  We should have most of our snow gone by the end of next week!
