Warming up this weekJanuary 7th, 2013 at 7:17 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
After a dreary, rainy/snowy day on Sunday, we are right back to dry conditions to start the week. And things will look MUCH brighter, as high pressure builds in! Skies will clear out this morning, and sunshine will be the rule through the afternoon. Today’s highs will be very similar to yesterday, as we top out near-normal… in the mid-30s:
The rest of the week will feature a warming trend, and the snow will continue to melt! (But even as that happens in the afternoons, watch for re-freezing at night) Highs will push into the 40s Tuesday through Thursday–this will be the warmest we’ve been all month. Our weather will remain quiet through Thursday as we warm… and by the time showers are back in the forecast, it will definitely be warm enough for rain. Models have been pretty consistent bringing in rain Thursday… and keeping us unsettled as we head into next weekend:
Not a wash-out, but scattered activity will be possible. We will get a better handle on timing and intensity as we head into mid-week. Stay tuned!
