More snow and rain showers today… still cold
Unsettled weather continues across the region today, with scattered snow showers. As we warm a bit this afternoon, we may even see a sprinkle or two. BUT we won’t warm much. Highs will only be in the mid-upper 30s. This morning, temperatures are at or below freezing, so there are a few road issues out there with slick spots… but we will see improvement as we climb above 32 by mid-late morning:
Precipitation chances decrease tonight and Friday we only have a few flurries or light snow showers in the forecast, with little additional accumulation. The weekend is looking quiet, but a little colder… with highs on Saturday only near freezing and the possibility of not getting out of the 20s on Sunday. Next week we’ll warm a bit, but will actually continue to run below normal (the normal high this time of year is 43-degrees). We should come up near 40 by Wednesday.
