Few flurries today, but the chance of snow tonight…

A cold front came through yesterday, bringing the rain with it… and as expected, it was a nice soaking for many!  Here is a look at some rainfall totals from our Weathercheckers:

That front also brought in colder air.  Temperatures gradually fell yesterday, and we’ve dropped close to freezing in some local communities this morning.  Clouds linger today, and we even start with the chance of a sprinkle or flurry… but that will decrease in the afternoon.  Winds will continue to be breezy, and highs top out around 8-degrees below normal… we’ll be near 40 today.  Tonight, upper level energy moves in and could kick off a few scattered snow showers… this will continue into the first part of Wednesday:

Any accumulation looks light, generally a half-inch or less, but there is the potential for heavier snow showers in spots, so be aware of that.  As temperatures will dip into the upper 20s tonight, slick spots will be possible for the Wednesday morning drive!  We’ll have the latest starting tomorrow at 4:30am on @WDTN with weather & traffic every 10 minutes :)

Wednesday will also be the coldest day of the week, with highs only in the mid-30s, and breezy conditions continuing!  Bundle up!
