Colder as we head toward Spring…

This morning, cold air continues to advance into the Miami Valley behind a cold front:

We’ll only make it into the upper 30s for highs today.  AND the winds are going to be up there!  With a brisk west wind coming in 15-25 mph, and gusting to 35 mph… it will feel even colder.  At least we will see some sunshine today!

Clouds will thicken back up Wednesday into Thursday, as upper level energy works across the region.  We can’t rule out a spotty flurry each of these days, as temperatures remain below normal.  It certainly will be a cold start as we welcome Spring tomorrow!

Last year at this time, we were in the lower 80s!!  So it will be a far cry from that.  It’s not until the end of the week/weekend that highs will climb back up into the 40s.  Normals this time of year are in the lower 50s!  So even though we’ll warm… we will still be running below those values.  The next storm system to watch doesn’t get here until Sunday into Monday… so we’ll have a fairly quiet stretch of weather!
