Easter morning showersMarch 30th, 2013 at 7:29 pm by Tara Hastings under Weather
We had a wonderful day today! Lots of sunshine and temperatures finally made it into the middle 50′s.
John sent us this photo of the deer enjoying the sunshine at Englewood Metropark. Kathy from Brookville shows us blooming flowers. Don’t forget you can always send us photos by using the report!t feature at wdtn.com
Of course the nice weather isn’t going to last for the rest of the weekend. Clouds have already begun to increase across the Miami Valley and there is already some rain out to the west of us. Showers will creep into the area by daybreak Sunday and stick around with us for the first half of the day.
If you’re doing any Easter egg hunts you may want to postpone them until later in the day. The showers that move through early in the day will be rather scattered and won’t put down too much rain and will be east of Dayton by 2 or 3 pm.
We may see some breaks in the clouds late Sunday night. By Monday the cold air spills across the region and temperatures drop into the lower 40′s for much of Monday and Tuesday.
Opening day for the Reds is going to be chilly! Make sure you bring the layers and bundle up. There may be a few patches of drizzle or a few flurries for Monday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
