Weekend warmupApril 4th, 2013 at 6:08 am by Tara Hastings under Weather
This morning we’re seeing a thick cloud deck overhead. Temperatures aren’t as cold as they were the last couple of mornings but some spots are in the upper 20′s. The clouds will be with us for the next several hours and eventually this afternoon we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds.
If you’re heading to Great American Ball Park for the Reds game you’ll see a bit more cloud cover. Temperatures by first pitch will be in the upper 40′s but quickly rise into the 50′s for the afternoon.
Clouds begin to clear later tonight. Temperatures will still be on the chilly side but will not be as cold as the last couple of mornings. Eventually temperatures rise for the weekend and next week. Looks like spring has finally sprung
The warmer temperatures will last into the end of the weekend and for early next week as well. We will see more unsettled weather though with several rain chances Sunday through Wednesday. Until then enjoy the dry conditions!
On Friday another area of high pressure noses southward. This means sunny skies once again and highs in the middle 50′s. Low pressure gets closer for the weekend and out ahead of it winds really pick up out of the south and southwest. This means we’ll see a breezy day Saturday and highs rise into the 60′s.
Temperatures rise for early next week but there are several chances for rain and even a few thunderstorms. Stay tuned. You can always get the latest forecast by heading to wdtn.com on your mobile device as well.
