A little milder to start the week…April 22nd, 2013 at 7:08 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
Temperatures this morning will drop into the mid and upper 30s across the Miami Valley, and with clear skies and light winds, this is a set-up for patchy frost formation. We do have a Frost Advisory in effect for the entire area through 9 am. Not quite as cold as yesterday, however, when we had a good freeze for much of the Valley–official low was 28-degrees! After the cold morning, sunshine and a light southerly flow will have temperatures climbing quickly as we head through the day. Expect highs in the mid-60s, right around normal for this time of year!
We’ll see south winds increase on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front. This will help boost high temps up near 70 Tuesday afternoon. Most of Tuesday will be dry, with some sun to start and increasing afternoon clouds. By late afternoon/evening, we’ll start to see the slight chance of a few spotty showers or thunderstorms. This chance then peaks overnight into early Wednesday morning, as seen on Futuretrac:
This front does have a push of cooler air behind it, and temps will dip mid-week. Expect highs in the mid-50s Wednesday and Thursday, with overnight lows in the 30s… and another frost threat!
Karrie Rossmiller and I went to Mix 107.7′s Time Warp Prom over the weekend–what a blast it was!! It is THE best totally 80s party around. One of the best parts of the night was seeing all the rad 80s outfits & chatting with the people wearing them about how they came up with the outfit/where they bought it, etc. Thanks to all for making it such a fun night… here are some of the cool people we met!
