Warm again today, but a cold front moves in tonight…

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day across the Miami Valley… full sunshine, and highs reached 68-degrees.  The one problem–the tree pollen.  If you have seasonal allergies, you know it’s up there.  We’ve seen moderate-to-high levels of tree pollen over the past couple weeks.  Today, expect another nice one… but if you’re going to spend some time outside & have these allergies, today is not a day to skip on the medicine!

We will see more clouds today than yesterday, but still expect a high UV Index:

Today’s daylight hours look mostly dry, but showers and thunderstorms will approach our western counties late in the afternoon & into the evening hours:

A better chance of rain comes overnight into early Wednesday as a strong cold front moves through.  The Wednesday morning drive looks a bit rainy:

It looks like a general 1/2″ of rain will fall… with some spots seeing closer to 3/4″.  During the afternoon, the cold front heads east and the rain will move away with it… but then we’ll see the cool air move in.  Highs will only be in the lower 50s, so about 20-degrees cooler than today.  Yes, we head back down… and could even see a little patchy frost Thursday or Friday mornings.  But the 60s are back by Friday afternoon, and near-normal temperatures are expected over the weekend.  There is also the slight chance of showers this weekend… so stay with us as we fine-tune that forecast…
