Much cooler for the holiday weekend…

We are starting off with 40s out there–but it could actually be colder.  Thankfully, we had clouds through the overnight and most of the early morning hours… as well as a breeze.  Both of these things helped prevent temperatures from getting too low.  But tonight, skies will be mainly clear and with lighter winds, we should get down near 40-degrees in Dayton.  Areas especially east of town will get a bit colder… and some of them could dip into the upper 30s.  It will be even colder in eastern Ohio… that’s where there is a frost advisory, believe it or not!

We’ll enjoy a lot of sunshine today, thanks to high pressure building in.  But don’t let the bright afternoon fool you–it will still be quite cool, and highs will run 10-15 degrees below normal (we reach the low 60s).  Tonight is the cold one, and then after Saturday morning, we will actually start a warming trend right through Memorial Day:

Dry weather is in the forecast through Sunday, but by Sunday night we could have a few showers–especially southwest of town.  That chance continues through Memorial Day, but it is a very low chance… at 20%.  Most look to stay dry!

AND we will continue a warming trend through next week, getting back into the 80s on Wednesday.  Pool weather! :)
