Unsettled holiday, but warming temps this week…

A warm front south of the Miami Valley will lift north, bringing in breezy conditions… warming temperatures… and unsettled weather.  We start this Memorial Day with showers across the area this morning, ahead of the front:

It looks like we’ll see a lull in the rain in the late morning/early afternoon, before more rain develops later in the day.  (The northern counties do stand the best chance to see less of a break, however.)  So while not a wash-out… it will be unsettled.  Thankfully, our threat for severe weather will be limited, but have a plan B if you are planning outdoor activities today!

As mentioned, it will also be warming.  Highs today will reach the mid-70s… and we’ll keep climbing this week!  Here is a look at how high temperatures will play out:

So at least we will get back to pool weather soon!  It was quite the cool weekend, as each day we only saw highs in the 60s… but I *did* see some pictures of die-hards taking a dip!  It will be much more enjoyable to swim as the week goes on.

Thank you to all who serve… and all the military families, as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice on this Memorial Day.
