Cold front brings more rain today…July 23rd, 2013 at 6:26 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
We are starting off with low visibility across parts of the Miami Valley because of dense fog. There is a Dense Fog Advisory in effect for counties along and east of I-75 through 9am.
Conditions will improve mid-morning as the fog mixes out. The best chance to see sun today will be in the late morning and early afternoon, ahead of a cold front. We will also be warm and humid ahead of the front, with early afternoon highs in the low-to-mid 80s. Rain chances increase in the far northwest shortly after lunchtime, and then the rain spreads southeast as the front pushes in:
Some of the thunderstorms may produce some higher wind gusts, but thankfully, the front is going to be moving through NOT stalling out like the last one did. So while we may see some heavy downpours… they will be moving. A few showers may linger early this evening, but then we will dry out overnight. High pressure builds in for the mid-late week, and this will bring some really pleasant weather to the region:
Not quite the best pool weather, but still enjoyable to be outdoors doing most other activities.
