Record cool Sunday, still below normal today…July 29th, 2013 at 6:18 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
As Tara mentioned in yesterday’s blog, we had some record cool weather on Sunday across the region. Today, we will be a touch warmer… but temperatures continue to run below normal. After starting the day in the 50s once again, we will see highs climb into the mid-70s this afternoon:
Dry conditions are expected for another couple days, with high pressure in control. Expect a lot of sunshine today, and mostly clear skies tonight. Tuesday looks to start sunny, as well, with increasing clouds during the afternoon hours. We do see rain chances increasing slightly Tuesday night, with the best chance of the week coming on Wednesday. We may even see a few showers linger on Thursday. Even though rain chances are on the rise, temperatures will continue to gradually warm through the end of the week as our flow becomes more zonal (west-to-east). We will see near-normal highs with dry weather on Friday.
