Nice end to the week, but rain is coming…August 2nd, 2013 at 7:37 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
Clear skies and light winds overnight brought a few foggy spots this morning. The fog formed quickly, and where it did show up… it was fairly dense. But as the sun continues to rise, the fog will mix out quickly, and it looks like a really nice morning. It is a little cooler, with lower dew points, so it doesn’t feel as muggy this morning. Pleasant conditions will continue during the afternoon hours, but clouds will be on the increase ahead of a cold front.
That front drops in on Saturday and will slowly move through the Miami Valley. Unfortunately, this means the rain chance goes from morning… right on into the afternoon and evening. A bit unsettled! Be sure to have LIVE DOPPLER 2HD nearby if you have outdoor plans Saturday.
On Sunday, high pressure will build in behind this front and dry things out for us. We will see some sunshine, too, but temperatures will continue to run below normal. Expect highs in the mid-upper 70s… not quite pool weather, but still pleasant.
Next week, we warm back into the 80s by Tuesday, as the rain chances go up again mid-week. Have a great weekend!
