Nice for the end of week and weekend…

A cold front moved through and again brought significant rain to parts of the Miami Valley on Thursday.  BUT once again, not every location saw the high totals… the heavier rain was very localized.  Here’s a look at totals from the region and more local:

I picked up about a half-inch in Kettering… so we fell somewhere in-between the two extremes.

This morning, with the low-level moisture lingering and skies that cleared a bit… we have had some fog form.  Visibility may drop to a quarter-mile at times, if you’re out traveling early.  Fog will mix out by mid-morning, as drier air continues to move in.  So while it will be muggy early on… the humidity levels decrease this afternoon.  Highs will be pleasantly warm, in the lower 80s.

We have a nice COOL morning Saturday, with temps in the upper 50s early on.  This will be perfect for a long run, if you are building your miles for the Air Force Marathon or Half Marathon!  It’s getting close–hopefully your training is going well.

Saturday afternoon will feature near-normal highs… but we get warmer on Sunday.  AND even warmer next week!  We could be up near 90 by week’s end!
