Nice weekend… now warming!

What a gorgeous weekend it was across the Miami Valley!  I hope you got to enjoy it.  I took full advantage of a cool Saturday morning to get a long run in, as I am training again for the Air Force half marathon.  It is much easier the second time around, I will say :)   Thanks to Team Grace from Troy, for letting me tag along on their run through UD/Woodland Cemetery/Carillon Park.  The weather was perfect, and the company was even better!

Even last week, I was talking about the potential of hitting 90 this week–and that still looks to be the case!  And not only once, but possibly several times!  Humidity is making a comeback, as well, with dew points rising into the upper 60s/lower 70s.  Thankfully, many pools continue at least late afternoon hours this week, because it certainly looks like pool weather!

A weak front will drop in on Wednesday, bringing the best chance of rain all week.  But that is only a 30% chance at this point, so most of the area looks to remain dry.  Temperatures will drop slightly behind the front, but not much:

And for the upcoming holiday weekend– it still looks hot!  Expect highs to be near 90 Saturday through Labor Day.  Speaking of Labor Day, my hometown of Kettering hosts the BEST weekend of the year–Holiday at Home.  We hope you will come join us as we celebrate Sunday and Monday in the heart of Kettering.  You can get more on all the fun events going on here: HOLIDAY AT HOME and check out the FACEBOOK page!

My favorite things: the 5K… pancake breakfast… parade and arts & crafts show with FREE kids area.  Come one, come all!
