One more humid day then a pattern changeSeptember 2nd, 2013 at 6:04 am by Tara Hastings under Weather
We have high humidity and little wind so once again we are dealing with some fog.
This is the last day we’re going to see high dew points for the next 7 days! Right now there are shades of green here but take a look to the west – dew points drop into the 50′s. Those will be heading this way for Tuesday.
Here’s a look at how Labor Day’s in the past have been.
A cold front will move through the area today bringing a chance for a few showers this afternoon.
Once the front moves through humidity levels drop and so do the temperatures. Tuesday will be slightly below normal. Our jet stream or storm track dips right over the Miami Valley on Tuesday.
High pressure at the surface continues to keep us sunny, dry and less humid.
As we head into a new month I wanted to take a look back at August. We had a few 90 degree days but ended up with temperatures near normal for the month. We’re still below normal as far as rainfall goes.
Have a great day!
