Refreshing start to the daySeptember 3rd, 2013 at 6:27 am by Tara Hastings under Weather
When I walked out the door this morning (or in the middle of the night) it was great to feel the lower humidity and cooler temperatures. Reminded me of Neil Diamond’s “September morn“ My mom loves Neil and his music was always heard in our house
Dew points or the measurement of how much moisture is in the air are now in the 50′s – that makes me say ahhhhhh.
Yesterday we saw temperatures in the middle 80′s and today our highs will be near 75 which is about 5 degrees below normal.
The cold front that moved through yesterday is now well to the east of us and off to our northwest is high pressure. This high will keep us cool, sunny and dry for the next several days.
September is one of those transitional months. Here’s a look at our normal highs/lows for the beginning of the month and the end of the month.
Today it will be dry and sunny with temperatures below normal.
I’m expecting another quiet day on Wednesday as high pressure hovers right over the area.
Enjoy the lower humidity and have a wonderful day!
