A dry but chilly nightSeptember 16th, 2013 at 6:44 pm by Tara Hastings under Weather
After some morning rain the clouds stuck around for most of the day. But as the evening continues skies will become mostly clear.
Here’s a look at some of the rainfall totals around the Miami Valley.
Here’s a shot from one of our cameras in Beavercreek. Notice some blue sky there! Looks like we’re going to have a pretty sunset.
The clear skies will set the stage for a chilly night. Temperatures drop into the middle 40′s.
We’ll see mostly sunny skies for much of the afternoon Tuesday meaning temperatures will continue to rise.
It will be dry for the next couple of days. Clouds begin to increase on Wednesday as a system moves toward the area. This will give us a slight chance for a few showers late Wednesday.
More rain chances continue for Thursday and Friday. Looks like we may have a wet Friday night for football games.
You may have noticed I was off this weekend. I had the pleasure in taking part in a wonderful experience at the University of Dayton. I am a National Officer for Kappa Delta Sorority. I was a part of establishing a new sorority chapter at UD. There were some long days and nights but it was so rewarding. I was able to meet a lot of wonderful women who attend the University of Dayton.
Here is the team who worked so hard to welcome more women into the greek community. I had such a fantastic experience working with this group.
On Sunday night we welcomed more than a hundred women into Kappa Delta. The University of Dayton staff has been so wonderful in this process and I thank them for all their efforts. Here is the new Theta Delta chapter of Kappa Delta!
