Warmer but several chances for rainSeptember 18th, 2013 at 5:52 pm by Tara Hastings under Weather
We started off the day with a few isolated showers and lots of clouds but saw some sunshine for the afternoon. That sun helped warm us up into the lower 80′s.
Hopefully your sinuses are a little better this afternoon. The pollen count is a little lower than it was yesterday.
Temperatures stay above normal through the end of the week however rain chances increase as a cold front approaches the Miami Valley. Right now the cold front is well to the west of us.
There’s a slight chance for a few scattered showers Thursday but a better chance as the cold front approaches.
By Friday morning the cold front will be to the west of us. It will be warm and breezy with showers developing. Look for a soggy night for Friday night football. If you’re planning on running the Air Force 5k at Wright State Friday evening be prepared to get wet. It will be mild and breezy with rain possible.
Depending on how fast the front moves through we *may* see a few showers early Saturday morning. One model has the front slowing down which would mean rain early Saturday morning. We’ll continue to keep an eye on it for you! As of right now here’s what it will look like for the Air Force Marathon.
