Soaking Sunday rainOctober 6th, 2013 at 7:05 pm by Tara Hastings under Weather
Soaking rain covered most of the Miami Valley for much of the day today. We’ll continue to see scattered showers for the rest of the night. Most of the area picked up 1-3 inches of rain.
There are still Flash Flood Watches out for portions of the Miami Valley until later tonight.
The reason for this rain? A strong cold front moving through the area.
The cold front is moving through right now. Temperatures are dropping fast! Right now most of the area is in the 50′s!
The bulk of the rain will come to an end early Monday morning. There’s a slight chance we may see a spotty shower but most locations should remain dry.
High pressure builds across the region Tuesday. This means lots of sunshine but a chilly start. Temperatures Monday and Tuesday morning will start off in the 40′s.
