Fantastic fall weather this week…October 8th, 2013 at 5:05 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
High pressure over the Miami Valley brought clear skies and calm winds overnight. This allowed temperatures to really drop–we had morning readings in the lower 40s area-wide! This week will feature cool-to-chilly mornings, but some pretty spectacular afternoons. Expect a lot of sunshine and a slow warming trend day-to-day:
So a very quiet–and pleasant–week ahead!
Most area parks are seeing fall color now. It won’t be long until we see peak color conditions! This typically happens in mid-October for the northern half of the Miami Valley… and towards the end of the month for our southern counties. This weekend looks like it will be perfect for a nice drive to take in some of the fall sights. Saturday looks dry and pleasant, but rain chances do increase ever so slightly on Sunday with the next front moving in.
