Another round of showers todayOctober 17th, 2013 at 6:31 am by Tara Hastings under Weather
We had some showers yesterday but ended the day with some sunshine. Many of our viewers and weathercheckers sent in some great photos. Don’t forget you can send your photos by clicking on the report!t feature at wdtn.com
We’re starting off the morning with clear skies – lots of stars and great view of the moon. Once the sun rises we’ll see some of it before clouds quickly increase by the middle morning. There’s a dip in our jet stream this morning showing where that disturbance is right now.
Rain will stay to the west of us by 8am but will inch closer by 11am.
By 2pm the entire area will see a chance for showers. They will be on the light side and continue to move out of the area quickly. They should be off to the east of us by the drive home today.
Skies become partly cloudy overnight and temperatures drop into the upper 30′s and lower 40′s once again Friday morning. Look for lots of sunshine on Friday with highs near normal. We’ll also be dry for Friday’s Operation Football.
On Saturday our jet stream takes another dip. This means temperatures drop back into lower 50′s with showers likely for Saturday morning.
Have a great Thursday!
