A windy fall dayOctober 26th, 2013 at 5:25 pm by Tara Hastings under Weather
We’ve been forecasting for a couple of days that it would be windy today and the wind really put a bite in the air! Here are some of the wind gusts around the Miami Valley and the state.
A cold front now to the west of us will swing through later tonight. This is going to switch our winds and also decrease them as well.
We’re still seeing a lot of clouds right now however there have been some holes in them. Showers have developed with this front in southern Michigan however they are struggling to dip farther south. It looks like we may be dry tonight with skies gradually clearing overnight.
By tomorrow morning we’ll start off with some sunshine, temperatures near freezing again but the good news is the winds will not be as strong as what they were today.
Look for lots of sunshine Sunday afternoon with temperatures holding steady in the lower 50′s.
On Monday we’ll see lots of sunshine with temperatures getting a little closer to normal for this time of year. Highs will begin to approach the 60 degree mark.
We’re tracking a storm system for the middle of the week that will allow our temperatures to warm above normal but it will also bring a good chance of rain to the area. It looks like we’ll see a very good chance of rain on Halloween. We’ll continue to monitor this storm system for you.
