Parts of the area saw a little sun this morning, and this certainly made for a gorgeous sunrise! Here are some pictures:
You can always share your weather photos with us by using the ReportIt feature at www.wdtn.com. We are starting off with above-normal temperatures again, as the southerly flow strengthens over the region… in between high and low pressure:
That low to the west will bring a cold front towards us, and not only will it be windy today… but it will also be wet, with rain spreading in this afternoon. Here is my thinking on when the best chance of steady rain will arrive:
The rain continues in the evening and through the first part of the overnight. It will taper off by Thursday’s morning drive, so back to dry weather. While we start Thursday with clouds, we are expecting increasing sunshine through the afternoon. The big change tomorrow will be temperatures–highs will only reach the upper 40s! Quite the chilly day, with a bit of a breeze. Friday morning we dip below freezing as clouds decrease even more. The weekend does look a little warmer, so hang in there!
