Cool and breezy for the weekend…November 8th, 2013 at 6:59 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
High pressure building in from the west has cleared skies across the region this morning, and with the colder airmass in place, temperatures have dropped below freezing:
We have some frost, too… but the sun will put an end to that rather quickly. It’s up, and we will see a good deal of it this afternoon! Winds won’t be AS breezy as yesterday, but we will actually see them increase again for the weekend. An approaching cold front will bring southwest winds 10-20mph… with gusts as high as 30mph:
The front will come through dry, however, so we don’t have to worry about any weekend precipitation.
Veterans day looks dry, too… but by Monday night a strong arctic cold front will be dropping into the region! This will bring the chance of rain or snow showers… and a big drop in temperature!
Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday may not get out of the 30s, with lows dipping into the 20s. It is still a long way off, so be sure to stay in touch with us regarding any changes to the forecast. And be sure to enjoy this nice fall weekend!
