Cold blast for a couple days…

A strong cold front moved through the Miami Valley late Monday, and brought rain… a wintry mix… snow… and finally COLD.  It certainly looks pretty out there with a light coating of snow in parts of the Miami Valley.  Here are some photos

And it wasn’t a lot of snow, as expected.  It ranged from around a half-inch up to two inches at our highest elevations.  Here are some snowfall totals:

Now our attention turns to the COLD.  Morning temperatures have dropped well into the 20s, and with a brisk north wind, it feels even colder.  Here is what it feels like at 8am, with the wind chill:

Our highs today will only reach the mid-30s, and the breeze will continue… but we will see some sun.  Tonight looks even colder, as we drop near 20-degrees in town, and some of the outlying spots will dip into the teens.  Another cold afternoon is on the way for Wednesday, with highs in the upper 30s.  We will see a good deal of sunshine both Wednesday and Thursday… and also a gradual warming trend through the weekend!
