Springlike start to the week, but it doesn’t last long!March 10th, 2014 at 7:45 am by Jamie Jarosik under Weather
We have a strong southerly flow developing today… and breezy southwest winds will have temperatures soaring! We expect highs near 60-degrees for at least two days, with then colder air arriving mid-week.
We will see more cloud cover today and Tuesday as a couple features affect the area. Today, it’s a disturbance bringing clouds this morning, and into the early afternoon. It may kick off a spotty sprinkle… especially across the northern half of the Miami Valley. This morning, we are seeing some returns which may or may not be making it to the ground across the far north:

On Tuesday, a weak front will drop into the Miami Valley. This front will never really make it through the Miami Valley, so there is not a push of cool air with it. Temperatures will remain quite spring-like… as we once again see an increase in cloud cover for a bit, and the slight chance of a sprinkle.
The day to watch this week for precip is Wednesday. A larger storm system moves in, and will really bring a shock to the system!
As for just how much snow will accumulate–it’s still in question. It looks like a couple inches is a good starting point… but stay tuned.
