Snow ending replaced by cold temperatures tonightMarch 12th, 2014 at 6:16 pm by Tara Hastings under Weather
After about an inch of rainfall and heavy snows in northern Ohio cold temperatures are now the main weather story.
Thanks to a few of our viewers who sent us photos via report!t. The snow stuck to the ground a little more farther north.
Dayton ended up picking up about .7″ of snow while areas north saw about 2-3″ of snowfall.
Gusts have been around 30-40 mph throughout the day.
Wind speeds will ease later tonight and tomorrow. However temperatures are going to take a nose dive tonight. Make sure the kids get the full winter gear tomorrow morning! Wind chill values are likely to dip below zero.
We will see some spots see refreeze tonight after the rain and snow we saw today. So be careful tomorrow morning. We’ll start off cold but with sunny skies for your Thursday. Temperatures will stay below normal for the afternoon – highs will stay in the 20′s.
The good news is temperatures will warm back into the 50′s for Friday! It will be breezy with a mix of sun and clouds but at least it will be near normal.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
