Spring has sprung

March 31st, 2014 at 7:16 am by under Weather

I was at a conference over the weekend and noticed a white layer from my view in the plane.  It was kind of neat to see the dusting of snow on the ground from the air but not to wipe it off my windshield!  The snow that fell Saturday night brought our seasonal snowfall total up a bit.  We’re still in the number three spot.

TOP TEN SNOWFALL

There’s still more winter weather out there across the US.  While we’re going to be nice and mild today blizzard conditions will be seen across the northern plains.

BLIZZARD WARNINGS

We’re going to see sunny & mild temperatures through the entire day today.  So if you’re heading to GABP for the Reds opening day make sure you take your sunglasses!  It’s a great day for baseball.

REDS FORECAST

A cold front will swing through later tonight & early Tuesday morning.  This will bring a chance for a few spotty showers after midnight and early Tuesday morning.

MON 6PM TUE 3AM

By Tuesday afternoon we’ll return to partly cloudy skies with highs in the 60′s.

TUE 7AMTUE 5PM

Our normal high for this time of year is around 55.  We’ll be above that for much of this week.

TEMPERATURE TREND

The weather pattern becomes a little unsettled for the next several days.  Rain will be likely even with some thunderstorms possible.
