Former 2 News anchor Carl Day has passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. In 1997, Carl was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which he battled for the past 13 years.

Tree blasted by lightning in Germantown.

A Germantown family arrived home Wednesday afternoon to find a tree in their yard had literally blown to pieces from a lightning strike.

Chris Wright will enter the NBA draft.  The Flyers junior will make the announcement at a news conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Wright will not hire an agent, so he still has the option to return to UD for his senior season.

The 6-8 forward out of Trotwood High School averaged more than thirteen points and seven rebounds per game this season.

Chris Wright was a first team all-Atlantic Ten player.
